Canines 'N Cats Adoption Station Work Day Scheduled

Good weather is in the forecast for this weekend and we are scheduling a work day Saturday, May 9th from 10am to 4pm at the Canine 'N cats Adoption Station at 2012 W. Garton Road (the former Auction Depot building) in Ozark, Missouri. The Adoption Station is located just north of Bass Tracker off 21st & 22nd Streets.

Volunteers are needed to help do the following: 

*Unload and put up both portable signs

*Rake and pick up small debris out of the exercise yard and parking lot

*Pick up another portable dog pen for exercise yard

*Add some blocks to fence perimeter

Please bring a yard rake if you are helping with yard cleanup (and gloves to avoid blisters.)

Also, dog walkers, laundry help, washing dog bowls, kennel cleaning and help answering the phone, if you cant do outside work or any heavy labor.

CCAS Lost And Found Pet Forum Available

Due to the overwhelming emails concerning lost and found pets, the Christian County Animal Shelter has developed an online forum for pet owners to find lost pets, or those who have found animals, to reunite owners.

The CCAS Lost and Found Pet Forum is not responsible for lost or found pets, or mis-information that may occur from improper use of this forum, as it is just a conduit for allowing pet owners to be reunited with their animals.

Local Lost And Found Search Directory Available

We have put together a list of web sites where you can list and find lost animals in the Christian County area. Included are phone numbers for city shelters, Humane Societies, and contact numbers for areas that do not have an Animal Control officer.
